Graduate Scheme

Are you enthusiastic, self-motivated and eager to develop?
We are always on the look-out for individuals with a logical mind-set, who can operate in a team environment, whilst maintaining a commitment to individual goals and targets.  We can offer you the advantage of being part of a global entity, whilst maintaining a friendly 'can-do' attitude, in an environment where you are not just a number on the payroll.
Our 24 month programme has been tailored to optimise the learning experience. As L3 MAPPS is a functional organisation, the Graduate Scheme Framework will rotate you through the full breadth of the product lifecycle; from System Engineering and Software Engineering through to Test Engineering. Each functional rotation will last a period of six months, concluding with a performance and salary review in order to consider your progress and evaluate your future training needs.
We’ll provide you with a support infrastructure that enables you to grow, both personally and academically. We’ll allocate you real work on real projects, giving you set deliverables, tasks and responsibilities. You’ll arrive at the start with a limited knowledge of us and our industry and by the time you leave we’ll have filled your mind with industrial best practices, engineering philosophies and invaluable work place experience!
We’ll also offer you structured, advanced learning criteria. Here you’ll be presented a variety of differing opportunities; from team building and social activities to presenting at local schools or through attendance at externally provided courses, all aiding your personal and professional development.
We’re looking for the best and the most capable engineers to add value to our organisation and our product!
What else can we offer you?
In return, we’ll provide you professional mentors and a systematic learning approach that will expand your core skill sets at this pivotal stage in your career. As well as the benefits of being a permanent employee, such as:
  • Competitive Salary Package
  • Paid Annual Leave
  • Private Medical Healthcare
  • Pension Scheme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • External Training Courses
  • Sickness Pay
  • Flexible Working Arrangements
  • Personal Achievement Training
